ME

Roger Nakada, a.k.a. itbs2k sold me a J's Racing Type 1 3D GT wing for $1100 that broke in shipping. the box he packaged it in was the exact size of the wing with 2 layers of bubble wrap around the BLADE OF THE WING ONLY while he LEFT THE SIDEPLATES ATTACHED....you guessed it...some pressure was probably put on one of the sideplates and it twisted, breaking the blade as well.

after telling me that it was insured and DHL would pay for it, i call DHL only to find out that it was not insured so they'd only cover $100. then he starts to tell me that his packaging was fine and he left the sideplates because he didn't want to strip the screws (the screws come out with minimal effort, so i don't know where he got that idea).

then i tell him that DHL would only cover $100 and he starts to say that his price included shipping, not shipping AND insurance (after SWEARING repeatedly to me that he insured it and the person at the desk made a mistake by not charging him for insurance rolleyes.gif).

so basically he tried to cover his bases, then when he realized that it was obvious that he was lying, he tried to give excuses for why he wasn't obligated to do what he didn't do...proving that what he stood by earlier was clearly not the truth.

then he offered to give me half my money back stating that it wasn't his fault. i explained to him for a very long time on the phone that it was in NO way my fault, so that's between him and DHL, not him and me...i should not have to lose any money whatsoever during the resolution of this issue. eventually i got back a little less than $900 and had to pay $55 to ship his broken shit back to him (i actually packaged it very well).

so in the end, i lost money. i decided to stop worrying about it and just move on since i'm extremely busy with school and am not in dire financial straits. but i just thought that this should be put out there. i think it was pathetic, considering that i contacted itbs2k within 10 minutes of the original posting of his FS thread to commit to the purchase, gave him his initial asking price, and he got his money that same day through paypal without any hassle.

ITBs2k

LOL are you kidding me?!?!

I thought we had already settled and moved on but yet I am amazed after everything I did your still here whining about it.

I sold this punk kid my Js Racing wing and regretted it to this day. First of all, YOU DID NOT PAY ME ON THE FIRST DAY! I guess you forgot that you didnt pay me till 3 days after I had posted. He claimed his mommy and daddy didnt want him to buy anymore things for his car so he was trying to get his friend to paypal me instead so his parents wouldnt know about it. Whenever this impatient kid tried to contact me I always returned his PMs promptly and when I missed his call I would IMMEDIATELY call him back.

When I listed the wing for sale, NOWHERE did I state insurance would be included or nor did Nightcrawler EVER mention insurance before the wing was sent out. Before this transaction I always added insurance because it isnt much more and this was no cheap item. I told the lady I wanted insuranance and assumed it was charged since I have never had this problem before. I packaged the item which I believed was good enough. I used Industrial bubble wrap where it should protect the item good enough. NOT THIS case however it seems. Nightcrawler claims that DHL dropped the box off and it was completely torn apart. "A little pressure applied?" The pics he showed me looked as something FELL on the box and put a hole in it. Below the hole where the wing was is where the damage occured. ITS OBVIOUS IN THE PICTURES HE SENT ME.

When he called me whining that the wing was broken I IMMEDIATELY called DHL to get it fixed. They tell me they need to do an investigation and will send someone to his house. In the end I find out insurance was not included and which made this deal go sour.

In the end he demanded I give him a FULL refund and that I even pay for shipping back on the item. I did not feel responsible for this damage for I did what I was supposed to do. The day after recieving payment, I shipped the wing in an adequate box.

The kicker here is I was always polite while he took shots at me blaming my packaging was the problem and bad mouthed me on s2ki. He called me and I wasnt able to pick up and when I msgd him back WITHIN 5 MINS he goes and post all my personal info on every thread I posted in and posts demanding a refund.

I than decide to be the better man and take the loss. I tell him Ill give him a 900 refund and will take the wing back. He reluctantly agrees and states that he wont send the wing until I give the money first. At this point Im sick of this kid and say Ill give you 600 now and give the last 300 upon recieving my broken wing. He agrees.

And heres the hilarious part. I get the wing 1.5 weeks later and the box he sent it in was a joke. It was a box that was 2 different sizes. One side being a smaller old propane tank box and the other half that was bigger in size. AND HE USED OFFICE SCOTCH TAPE TO PATCH THIS CRAP TOGETHER! I guess his standard of boxing is much better than mine as he believes. Also the damn wing is missing 4 screws. When I asked him about them, he says he lost em in his garage when he took the wing apart which Im sure is pure BS.

So in the end I sold a wing that got damaged due to the shipping company. I gave 900 back and paid for shipping on BOTH WAYS and recieved my BROKEN wing back with missing screws. I dont know what else to say. I did more than most would have done. I believe most people would have said oh well too bad, you didnt ask for insurance. BUT NOT I DIDNT. I GAVE HIM OVER 85% his money back and got back my wing that is now damaged. Yeah I guess Im the scammer here.

I also sent my Js Racing Diffuser the SAME DAY to faukengenius and crazy that it had insurance on his item and yours didnt...hmmm? And he recieved his item with NO PROBLEMS at ALL!
I will never do business with NIGHTCRAWLER ever again and will never recommend to BUY/SELL anything to him.

Thats the truth and I am done with this subject and this lowlife kid.

Roger

ME

Roger, we did settle it. But I'm still pissed that you put me through all the BS. Let me take some time to rebut your statements:

"YOU DID NOT PAY ME ON THE FIRST DAY! I guess you forgot that you didnt pay me till 3 days after I had posted."

After posting that I "paid on the first day" I thought back and wasn't completely sure. So I won't argue that I paid you on the 3rd day. Either way, I never gave you a run around. I was just waiting for my friend to send you the $ for me.

"He claimed his mommy and daddy didnt want him to buy anymore things for his car so he was trying to get his friend to paypal me instead so his parents wouldnt know about it."

You're right that my parents had been upset that I had been spending so much time on the car, so I didn't want them to know about my purchase of the wing. I can't complain...I still live in their house, and they pay for my education. But how does this have anything to do with the matter at hand?

"Whenever this impatient kid tried to contact me I always returned his PMs promptly and when I missed his call I would IMMEDIATELY call him back."

I think I had the right to get a little impatient. This issue wasn't resolved until maybe 3-4 weeks after the wing broke. And even though I wasn't in dire financial straits, it was still my unreturned $1100, not yours. I don't think there was a need to talk about how you would return calls after you missed them. I never said that you weren't prompt in your responses or fell under the radar for long periods of time

"When I listed the wing for sale, NOWHERE did I state insurance would be included or nor did Nightcrawler EVER mention insurance before the wing was sent out."

Then why would you persistently defend yourself in stating that you DID purchase insurance? If you said that we never agreed to insure the wing, I would have been wrong and I would have been shit outta luck and it would have been MY fault. But you chose to swear that you purchased insurance and that they would resolve it.

"I used Industrial bubble wrap where it should protect the item good enough. NOT THIS case however it seems."

If you wrap ONLY THE BLADE with 2 layers of bubble wrap but leave the sideplates in AND not wrapped, how will bubble wrap prevent it from breaking? All the bubble wrap would do is protect the blade from scratches, as any child would be able to point out OH YEAH...the box was basically the exact thickness of the wing which was already inadequately protected. Oh yeah "industrial" bubble wrap is still just bubble wrap.

"Nightcrawler claims that DHL dropped the box off and it was completely torn apart. The pics he showed me looked as something fell on the box and put a hole in it."

I said the box was opened, never said it was COMPLETELY TORN APART. It was open on one side.

"The pics he showed me looked as something fell on the box and put a hole in it. Below the hole where the wing was is where the damage occured. ITS OBVIOUS IN THE PICTURES HE SENT ME."

There was no hole in the box...one side somehow opened. What are you trying to say? It seems like you're trying to say that something falling on the box is what caused the break...if the wing was actually disassembled, I'm sure it would have been fine.

"When he called me whining that the wing was broken"

So I don't have a right to complain that something I paid you your asking price for was broken upon its delivery (obviously due to your inadequate packaging?

"In the end he demanded I give him a FULL refund and that I even pay for shipping back on the item. I did not feel responsible for this damage for I did what I was supposed to do."

So...I'm somehow partially responsible and should take a monetary hit for your negligent packaging?

"The kicker here is I was always polite while he took shots at me blaming my packaging was the problem and bad mouthed me on s2ki. He called me and I wasnt able to pick up and when I msgd him back WITHIN 5 MINS he goes and post all my personal info on every thread I posted in and posts demanding a refund."

You were polite in your word choice and syntax, but you were basically telling me to go screw myself and that you're not going to resolve an issue that is clearly your fault. Maybe they shouldn't prosecute prosecute con artists because at least they weren't being mean while they were ripping people off Yeah I posted your personal info for a few minutes then removed it...and ONLY THEN did you start to get serious about giving me my money back. Oh yeah don't call that "the kicker" because using the term "the kicker" usually implies that some irony is about to follow. I see no irony here.

"I than decide to be the better man and take the loss."

You mean rightfully reimburse me?

"He reluctantly agrees and states that he wont send the wing until I give the money first. At this point Im sick of this kid and say Ill give you 600 now and give the last 300 upon recieving my broken wing. He agrees."

Why would I want to keep your broken wing? Also, you sent me a shoddily packaged wing that broke before, then tried to cover your ass and not give my money back...who would be stupid enough to send the stuff back to you without first getting some kind of money?

"And heres the hilarious part. I guess his standard of boxing is much better than mine as he believes."

That's the EXACT, unmodified box that my SECOND J's wing was shipped to me in (from PAYELS2k). That wing got to me in perfect condition...I made sure the box would hold up to stress...and...what's that? Oh yeah...no further damage to your broken wing was sustained during its shipment to you in that SAME box...so don't bring up the construction of that box 1) as if it makes a difference at all and 2) as if it didn't get the job done in the manner in which YOU initially should have.

"Also the damn wing is missing 4 screws. When I asked him about them, he says he lost em in his garage when he took the wing apart."

No sarcasm here...I'm truly, honestly sorry that I lost those screws. THAT was my fault. I'm sure that if you went to Lowe's, Home Depot, or somewhere else, they would be less than $1 to replace. I can send you reimbursement if you present a receipt to me. But you can't screw the sideplates in anyway, since the wing was split down the middle right through some of the holes where the sideplates screw in.

"I gave 900 back and paid for shipping on BOTH WAYS and recieved my BROKEN wing back with missing screws."

$900 is less than $1100. I lost money. Also, I paid $55 to ship it back to you, and after paypal fees i got back something like $874 or something around that. Don't capitalize "broken" as if you're implying it was broken due to me, when it broken before it got to me

"Dont sell anything to NIGHTCRAWLER cause hell throw dirt on your name."

Have you seen how much stuff I have on my car? Did you know that 90% of it is used? That means it was bought through s2ki members. 75% of the used parts were shipped from other states. Your transaction was the first one that went sour, and you're the first person I've had to call out.

Your favorite lowlife/punk kid,
Rashad chums.gif

ITBs2k

So you think your packaging was good when you use office scotch tape to put the box back together? And you say alil pressure was applied which what damaged the wing? This is a Js CFRP Wing. Hundreds of pounds of air pressure is applied on this wing and you think just "a little" pressure broke it. Righttttt. Again something must have fallen on it for it to break.

I care about my reputation on this site, which was the biggest reason why I even took the wing back from the SHIPPING COMPANY that damaged it.

I have sold many items and have had ZERO complaints except from you.

ME

When are you going to realize that even if I used a GLUE STICK, the box held up and it got to you in the same condition it was in when i sent it? And yes, the wing withstands hundreds of pounds of air pressure over top of it while it's mounted on the car...but that's all in one direction, and the direction that J's Racing intended it to be applied from. They didn't design it to be packaged wrong, halfway assembled, and have force applied to it in multiple directions all at once. But then again, I don't know much...I'm just a lowlife, punk kid according to you...maybe I don't fully understand the physics of how it could break in a box and not on the car @140mph

was going through my photobucket cleaning out some things and i just thought i'd add these for clarification.
