had some decent weather today in socal (like there ever isnt) and the GF was away xmas shopping so i got bored and decided to shine one of my DD. here are some pix :photo:

Nice! I Just picked up an 2011 TW Fit Sport as my DD last week. also have the same buffer :thumbup: I love it already. Cant wait till spring to Buff mine. Its too cold right now for a detail. Although the last owner kept it really clean. the drivers floor mat barely has a heel mark.

awww lucky! i wanted a white fit too, to match my AP2

another ge8 owner checking in. detail job looks beautiful. rough ballpark on cost to do another?

so what kind of products do you use on your gpw?

polish and protection you mean?
i use some Meg's 205 with a finishing pad to bring out the white and i like CG concours wax 50/50,
im getting in a couple of other waxes i just ordered so imma see "look wise" is theres any difference.
and in between washes to maintain when i bring her out i like to use Chemical Guys V07

just asking because ill be purchasing a griots orbital polisher and not sure what products to use on my gpw

well there are tons of Pads available for you, Lake country, buff n shine, Meguiars,
what are you trying to achieve? swirl removal? some scratchers? or just a polish?

since japanese cars (most) have soft paints meg's 105 and 205 combo seem to work well. Menzerna SF 4500 and 4000 work for me and a light cutting pad or a polishing pad as well

i have lots of swirls and i want to bring out the white more. ive been looking at the adams complete kit with the griots polisher.
