Default Full Detail on my S2000

It's been quite some time since I have given my S2000 some love. I've done two autocross events and a drag race event so it's time to clean him up. Unfortunately, I could not get any pictures with sunlight due to this rainy weather we have had all week.

- Wheels were cleaned up with Griot's Garage Wheel Cleaner and various wheel brushes
- Hand Washed and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned and wiped
- Clay Bar treatment with Griot's Garage Paint Treatment Clay
- Dried
- Tires dressed
- Masked all emblems, blinkers, etc. with 3M Blue Painter's Tape
- Compound - Adam's Paint Correction Polish
- Wax- Griot's Garage Best of Show Wax
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned

Engine Detail
- Cleaned
- Dressed

Interior
- Vacuum
- Clean and protect all interior panels
- Condition Leather seats
- Clean glass and mirrors

Very nice. Did you use the paint correction compound from Adams' new two step process? I'm a huge Adam's fan; basically the only stuff I use, but am wondering how their new two step process is.

What kind of DA did you use; porter cable?

I use a Griot's 6" with Uber 5.5" pads and vented backing plate. I didn't use the two-step process this time. I have done a pretty in-depth correction on this car a few months back so there weren't really any imperfections. However I opted to use the Adam's on my car since I just purchased it from Detailer's Domain and figured my car should be the guinea pig and not a customers. Overall it worked very well. Thanks for the complements!

Nice job. I've been lazy about finishing my polishing with the Griots. Mostly b/c it's been too hot in socal to be in a garage all day.

Our cars need to be pampered once in a while.

Requiem, did you get your wheels powdercoated? If so, where and how much did it cost? Looks really good!

They are painted not powder coated. I can paint yours for you whatever color you'd like.
