JDMpearlwhyteZ 01-04-2011 12:37 PM

some people say they dont notice it..

but i feel a difference in the car myself.. i guess it just depends on you or how your car is set-up

JDMpearlwhyteZ 01-06-2011 06:43 PM

I'm thinking about ordering that moddiction anvil 2 shift knob..

silverst0ner 01-07-2011 06:05 PM

nice. no wonder your cars that clean. subtle, effective mods.

JDMpearlwhyteZ 01-07-2011 07:50 PM

Thanks your car is like my twin lol..

I just ordered that Moddiction Anvil 2 last night.. I can't wait to see how much smoother shifting is with a heavier knob..

newyawkballa 01-07-2011 08:51 PM

What are using car wash and wax wise? And what are your techniques? I aNy my SS shining like that.

JDMpearlwhyteZ 01-07-2011 09:09 PM

I use a lot a lot a lot of turtle wax "ice" car wash and detail products..

Turtle wax:
Ice car wash
Ice liquid synthetic polish
Ice spray detailer
Ice spray wax (for touch ups between regular wax)

Meguires Cleaner wax (can)
Meguires quick detail (I use this after waxing with meguires)

My wash/wax routine is pretty ridiculous I guess.. Wax the car once every two weeks depending on if actually have to wash it or not..

I wash the car about once a week depending on weather.. A few days after (or whenever I feel it's needed) I'll use a spray bottle with hot water and mist & wipe the car to clear the dust off of it.. Or use spray detailer

I usually polish it before I wax it if I really want to make it shine and glisten..

newyawkballa 01-08-2011 10:42 AM

I use the Meguires car wash and their spray wax every time I wash it...And it looks good, but yours has a showroom shine....I just bought the Meguires Ultimate Wash &Wax....It is yellow colored and has a Gt-r on the front. What kind of sponges are you using and tire shine...Thanx a lot..

JDMpearlwhyteZ 01-08-2011 01:19 PM

i use a full microfiber sponge.. [autozone has them]

and armor all extreme tire shine gel.. [orange bottle]
