Default Camaro RS v.s S2OOO 0-60

my friend kept saying that his Camaro RS can do 0-60 in 6.0 secs
and he showed me the C&R magazine says s2k only does that in 6.3 secs
i asked him how'd he get the number for his camaro, he said he timed it himself.
i wonder if thats possible a camaro can smoke s2000 in 0-60

p.s both cars are stock, no mods

The actual RS is a V6, at least according to my friend who knows a bit.

I assume you can put the RS bodykit on a V8, but I don't think its standard.

only the 3rd gens RS had a V8, the 305 or the 2.8L V6, the 4th gen RS was only a 6. theres the B4C V8 which is basically a police type car, no options no badges and a Z28 suspension/motor with no hood or bodykit, maybe that was it?

Show him the Road & Track that says 5.2, or Motortrend that says 5.5, or older Car and Driver issues that say 5.8 (not the recent issue of C&D). Better yet, tell him to meet me, and I'll show him myself with an actual car. I think I could run on feet faster than Crapmaro RS. I don't know about you guys, but whenever I hear of "Camaro", I instantly think of white trash for some reason.

I had the Camero IROC 350- V8 5.7 liter, "top o' the line". Anyway def. the most fun anyone can have for $2000 dollars. Seriously. But. def. PWT. The car was pretty quick off the line, and had little HP @ 220 but serious TQ over 300. I doubt that my IROC ever got below 6 secs in the 0-60 race, and while it had juice, top end petered out a bit.

There is no way that a 98up RS camaro can smoke a S2k unless the S2k doesnt know how to drive. I know that RS Camaro's are all V6 after 98.
