Yea, anything can happen on the street. My friend has a '00 GSR with the basics (header, intake, exhaust) and we got smoked, and I mean smoked HARD by a Daewoo. Yes, I said a Daewoo. It was a yellow Lanos hatchback. The light turned green and he was gone, we never had a chance. We caught up with him at the gas station about a mile down the road. He had swapped out the stock motor for the motor out of their Nubira sedan and had a custom turbo kit fabricated. He said it was putting out like 280 horsepower, and from the way it ran, I am not doubting it.

unless you pass him or run side by side following behind isn't a clean race, you don't know when he got off the gas. . . . . . hanging with a car in their draft and and running with one side by side are two different stories
