Default Volk ce28n

I have searched the archives and can not find anybody who has purchased 16 inch Volk ce28n's. Is there anybody out there? What do they weigh? Can you actually see a difference with some 20+ pnds less unsprung weight? Who is selling the 16 inch rims at the lowest price?

I believe i am the only one in teh US that has a set of 16 inch Volk CE28's . Mine are also in gunmetal which are not even available. =)

16 x 7 48mm about 11 pounds
16 x 8 49mm about 11.5 pounds.

If you are interested in a set, let me know.

I have searched the web and the only place advertising this size is Upgrade Motoring: http://www.upgrademotoring.com/wheels/ce28n.htm. They list the front at 425 and the rear at 445 with a 15% discount plus shipping. I haven't called around for other prices.
These offsets are lower than what is listed in the s2k library. The Rays wheel table says the numbers you have fit the S2000. If I understand correctly that should push the wheels out a bit.
Do you have any problems with fit? My car S2000 is unmodified.

docofmind,

how did you get them in gunmetal? special order or powdercoat? If special ordered/imported, would appreciate if you could let me know from where and whether they come in 17s. I've got a bunch of friends in Tokyo so really just need to know if they are even available so he can ship them to me.

thanks.

They are not available with gun metal, but if you do some bribing they may make a set for you.

The only colors available are silver and bronze, but i assume everything else can be special ordered. You can get 16 inch, 17 inch, and now even 18 inch on the correct offsets.
