I use salt for that
, I want to put the the big B from the Baltimore Ravens in his yard since he is a Steelers fan.
We do cut patterns in each others grass all the time to see how long it takes to notice and as a hint to cut the damn grass.
The headwaters of the Patomac are actually further west than they were charted, so FU virginia (WV was a part of VA at this time)
Delaware is just weird and became their own state.
All of these things, together, make MD the smallest southern original 13 colony. Dont count DE; they are weird.
Bringing in your POS Toro is an option, but it probably has a Tecumseh engine which is out of business, so parts are becoming scarce. Bring it in sooner than later.

Are you supposed to drain a lawn mower over the winter?

Yes, anything with gas in it. The gas turns to maple syrup on the bottom and clogs everything up. The other option is to put Stabil in the gas. I do that for my generator and chainsaw because I may need them at any given moment.
Yeah that ^^^^

Did you just quote and agree with yourself?

Small engine manufacturers are saying gasoline is stable for 30 days. After that, throw it out.
This may be a little overkill though. Also, keep your oil in the unit until the next season and change it before using it the first time. If you want to warm it up, so it will flow out better, that is fine, but change it once its warm. Also, do not mess with the drain plug on the bottom of the engine, they are a bear to get out and strip easily. Plus they are dirty and let dirt into your engine if you are not careful. Remove the dipstick, tip the mower on its side, making sure the air filter is pointing towards the sky, and let the oil come out the drain tube.

quadruple post!

I stand corrected, quadruple post.
I prefer Briggs Engines. Honda engines are ok, but they are very specific in their tuning. Buy the cheapest self propelled B+S engine mower you can get your hands on. We have some reconditioned ones here, but the prices are no better than you will find in your local store. Dont make the trip.

Yes it has a Tecumseh and parts are bitch on a 2-3 year old mower.
Just going to stick on the curb and see if anyone takes it.What do you think of the Kohler engines in mowers? I use to always buy Honda powered stuff but B&S works fine for me I now have a mix of both. Dreading if the snow blower has any issues since of course it is a Tecumseh.
