I've only just realised what a gawky face the transporter has on it Im almost embarrassed to think I've spent all day driving it.....

I started out a 4am and got to Gary's shop before he opened at 9.I must be nuts.

The car appears to be having progress made.....

Matty sent me these pics of the gearbox tunnel which needs quite extensive modification to accept the gear change ram. They didn't tell me that at geartronics.
But needs must I suppose.

Wonder how noisy this bloody car is going to get? With straight cut gear wine, twin Bosch 44 pumps bolted to the bulkhead and now a compressor in the boot with pneumatics working the gear change.Hehe,! will save having to have a deep meaningfull conversation with my passenger.
Kitesurfer might be coming down to Germany as a passenger next year so it might all prove to be a blessing.

I go to collect the money pit tomorow,it's mot'd,with a running in map and the Geartronics is up and running. Been speaking to Matty today and he has convinced me that my life is incomplete without a Motec dash......So that's another £2500 I need to spend Never mind, you can't take it with you.5 am start again I must be nuts.

Bloody love this car and all the updates!

Best thing about it is it's not to race, enter time attack or go down the quarter mile, it's because you can, so you do!

Keep at it, and keep us updated

It's got an mot and insurance,so I went for a bit of bimble in it before I loaded it on the truck.Refined is not a word I would use to describe driving it,it is certainly different from everything else I've ever driven, wether good or bad I will have to wait and see. What is good is the sound of the ram moving the gearstick,it sounds awesome. It was worth the cost just to hear that thing working, what's not so good is the sound of the compressor in the boot. But small things amuse small minds

Although Matty was there and showed me his Motec dash which is a real touch of quality I managed to keep my money in my pocket......only because it isn't a simple job for me to fit it.So when the car goes back for the full boost map Gary and Matt are going to fit my yet to be bought dash, alsoWe are thinking 800 Hp may need a little taming so there is a very strong possibility I coud fit a Race Logic traction control, the Motec Tc is too complicated(read expensive)Kitesurfer is trying to sort me a deal out on one.

I might have found two used units so if anyone is interested I'm sure a deal can be had importing both depending on what they come with ie digital controller, analogue, launch control. Should be more than half price . Funny enough the units have been taken off working car's haveing motec ecu,s fitted hahaha.

Get hold of Glen there's no money being made.

I know im not in the same league as you boosted guys but cant fault the Racelogic, its a great bit of kit and can be refined alot to suit your needs. If you can get a second hand one then even better!
