Locktite probably isn't going to do a lot. My suggestion would be not to park it anywhere that theft is a possibility. I feel like my area is safe but no way I'd leave it on the car outside. Either get a second trunk and run it when you need it or be prepared for the worst.

I installed my wing today and i have quote à bit of wind noise when driving on the highway.
Is this normal? Is there something i can do About it?

I've gotta say, that wing (mine is 1700 also) noticeably settled my car over the 1600 type 2 @ Big Willow. I'm really loving it.

 

Yup standard stands, I think it's just the wide angle lens/angle that makes the wing look bigger.
Will be out n about in the coming months, should notice a difference from my older type1s I had used before.

 

Wow! I just finished going through this thread and am surprised I didn't see any pics of voltex fenders! There is 1 ap1 with rears but none with front and back. The black one is close but he said they were challenge not voltex. My car goes in shop next week so I will be posting some pics soon!

 

here is my type 1s. need to get bit taller stands though
