I had a rough weekend.

I have 15 cents, property and occupational taxes are due, I cancelled my cell phone to save money and I have been addicted to BAT auctions where there is currently a very pleasant S2000 on sale, as well as Carl's Triumph TR3 bad ass race car. Almost every day at around 3:00 I go to BAT, ready to make my bid on the latest dream. Fortunately some Russian named Vladimir has been paying big money and I'm rarely in the game. I swear he is buying up our sporty classics to send back into Russia. But since the latest sanctions against Russia for helping "The Donald", the Vlad is quiet. Oh well, the inauguration is only two weeks away.

So I found myself looking hard at Jeremy's car, as he has lowered his price a bit. If I only had a cell phone where I could speak to him privately, I'd give him a call as his car has always looked ( and still looks) sweet. I can't ask for permission, only forgiveness. But then 87 thou miles is about what I have on my winter beater and my delusion is ended (temporarily? - Do they ever really end?) I should save my money for a new transmission as mine is dying on the Escape.

Still I have that 15 cents. It's more than the 10 cents I used to have when I was younger. So much money that It's burning a hole in my pocket. Eastwood has a sale on welders. Been procrastinating on one for years. What to buy? I want top end TIG welder. But the garage isn't wired for 220, I don't know how to weld and I only have that 15 cents.

Sorry Jeremy, but I bought some welding equipment. A 135 amp MIG from Eastwood on sale. Charged it, of course and don't have to pay for 30 days.

So still have my 15 cents for a few days. Hope I can exercise restraint. My mantra tonight is "Don't call Jeremy!" ( is an explanation point suitable in a mantra?).
