Station wagon memories
Sorry Patricia those last 3 pictures are not station wagons. The first clearly is, as is Deb's! Cool pics. I guess my wife's 3 Outback's would qualify but I think they may have dropped the term "station" wagon by the time Mr. Crocodile Dundee was their ad man.
Deb there must have been some really strong winds to blow the snow off the roof and make the piles up the stairs and in front off the windows.

That tent had two bedrooms. It was really nice. But my mother got tired of camping all over Europe. Putting it up and taking it down, plus cooking on the Coleman stove.
I grew up with wagons, my parents had several, 73 Olds Custom Cruiser, 77 Custom Cruiser, then an 83 Custom Cruiser. My mom then got a 92 Mercury Sable wagon and my dad switched to a Suburban.
They still have the 73 wagon in the garage. White with red vinyl interior, it's massive! It's the one with the electric clamshell rear tailgate. I love a nice wagon, many happy memories sitting in the third row facing the wrong way traveling all over the place.

My parents like Pontiac Bonneville station wagons. We had a pink and white roofed one and then a 1970 green one. As kids, my brother and I would sleep in the flat back where my mom made a fitted bed of some sort, on our 8 hour drive to Lake Havasu, towing our boat. The pink one did okay the the 1970 was always having issues overheating.
I've owned three myself. I had a 1991 Honda Accord wagon with a 5-speed stick. I loved it and sold it with over 100,000 miles on it. I had a 2011 Honda Crosstour and now have a 2015 Honda Crosstour which is perfect for hauling my ElliptiGO around in.
