Default mid 2000 Mercedes AMG SLK-55 (R171)

Saw one of these the other day. Same yellow color as car above. I know nothing about this car's specifics. Anyone own or ever drive one of these?

Thanks!

Never driven. Auto only. 5.4L V8 with 354hp and 0-60 in low-4s. Chick car with a manly engine.

Was the most fun AMG car in the line up when it was released.

Not a terrible car, for under $20K. Wonder how maintenance issue is...

Frequent and expensive, is my guess. Too many complicated mechanical tricks. That crazy folding roof and the two-way action trunk for examples.

My now retired chief physicist has a 2012 slk55 AMG. A California, 458, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce. He drove that SLK and the Aston most often.
