I had a set of Hoosier wets when I was competing in Stock class autocross. I transported them all over the North East to National Tour events. I got to use them once. But that one time...I felt like God! Amazing grip in the wet, but it has to be really wet. If there aren't rooster tails coming off the car, it isn't wet enough to use them.

Marc and I have very bad opinion of Bridgestone as we both had unexpected sudden tire failures on the RE-01R's.
Mine was on the highway and I can't recall the exact circumstances of Marc's incident.
Tread separated about 7" from the sidewall on my passenger rear RE-01 while travelling about 70 mph on the highway. This occurred within about 2 weeks of Mark experiencing a similar catastrophic failure with his tire.
