The Loop 2017 - June 10 ***update date changed to June 10th

It's time to start thinking about our 3rd Annual "The Loop" drive! Vancouver to Pemberton to Lillooet and back, this is a long drive, but it's sooooo much fun!
When: Saturday June 10th.
Where: Vancouver to Lillooet
Meetup time & location:7am McDonald's @ Willingdon (4400 Still Creek Dr. Burnaby, BC)
Depart: 7:30am sharp
Details: The best part of the run is between Pemberton and Lillooet.

Mt. Baker has snowed lately and so we are concerned that the mountain may not be open at the end of May or, if it is open, there could still be snow. As a result, we are leaning on moving the Baker Run to Saturday June 24th instead. As we would like to have a weekend between drives, we are likely to move The Loop drive to June 10th, from the 17th.
I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on these changes.
Unfortunately I won't be back from the east coast in time for the Loop, but moving the Mt.Baker event means I might be able to make that run. Driving a 2K in the snow is not fun.

I must respectfully disagree with you s2kcanuck, with the right tires driving in the snow is a blast!
Awesome meet, thanks to all who came out! You guys make the effort to organize these events worth it!
11 cars in total, most signed up through our chat. Because of roadwork on 99 North, near the lake, we decided to head down through Hell's gate. What a great decision that ended up being, hardly any cars & 7 tunnel runs! I hope y'all can make it to the Mt. Baker run!
