***update*** ASP 6.0" crank pulley will be here in a couple of weeks, it will be used with my 3.4" blower pulley. Looking to see about 17/18psi from my now 14/15 psi. My LHT performance 70mm dual exhaust is installed and sounds amazing. On the fence about purchasing a second set of ID1000s, boost a pump and/or also boost a spark to assist with my setup. Will update as things are happening

Great thread! I plan on picking up a new SOS kit in the next couple of months and I’m trying to sort out all the necessary items, modifications I will and your thread has been very helpful. Please keep it up!

That said, curious to understand your reasoning behind going with the larger 70mm dual exhaust if you had great results with the OEM? I have read numerous threads stating that SC’d setups respond very well with the OEM exhaust due to the added backpressure. This seems to be the case with your original OEM exhaust when you hit 407whp and 270wtq.

I currently have a greddy spectrum elite v2 dual which is 70mm then splits into 60mm duals. I am considering throwing the stock exhaust on when I get the SOS kit based on your numbers and others with similar results running the stock exhaust.

Stock cat back is pretty good, but the motivation for people to run them is because they are quiet not because they are the best at making power. Your current cat back should perform marginally better. Can you deal with the noise is the question. Unlike a turbo which quiets the exhaust, the sc really makes it shriek. Expect your current exhaust to be noticeably louder in the upper rpms.

Thanks Lex! I try to use things that I know will work and provide power/ boost. I still have my OEM exhaust in my garage. The reason for the change was to see how the SC responds when the exhaust is efficent/ open with added fuel at higher boost levels.

I'd also love to hear a sound clip of this. I have a CT exhaust to go with my CT header and CTSC which looks very similar to this and is also dual but is only 63.5 mm, not 70 like this one. I love the CT exhaust because it is tame in comparison to others and looks great but I'd also like to try a 70, or bigger exhaust.
