My wife snapped this the other day. Nothing like the pro pictures above, but we thought the light was interesting.

It's gorgeous. Light is the indispensable quality of photography.

What is it? Took this a Denver's Forney Museum of Transportation yesterday. It had no plaque and the one staff woman had no idea what it was either. It houses a straight eight for power.

Cone, that photo is beautiful, it's ALL about the light!

That horse did appear to be laughing at me. I was trying to get a shot between the fence rails....

Gary, nice shot...maybe some kind of dogwood tree?

Went across the road yesterday to take some pics around the Iwo Jima Memorial. Too much sun out, so a bit overexposed. I'll go in the early morning next time. In the last pic, my apartment is the fourth one down below those concrete pillars in the middle.

Nice photos! Love the Tulips. The Iwo Jima Memorial reminds me of "Flags Of Our Fathers." Interesting flic about the men who raised the flag over Mt Suribachi.

Conedogger, I don't think photos need Pro equipment. For me, the equipment part is pure hobby. Like sports cars. Some of the best photos (or maybe, I should say most emotional) were taken with cellphones. Or point-&-shoot cameras.

Nice, Deb. I'd love to get there for the cherry blossoms some day. One sister lives in DC. Maybe I'll have to plan a visit some time to coincide with the cherry blossoms.
