The good news is also sad but I put my old girl down 4 days ago. No freezer required. She was just over 2 months shy of being 19 years-old. That's a wonderfully long life for a cat and the longest I've ever been a servant to one. The vet told me, "She was ready" as she only took a few breaths of gas before she relaxed and was gone. I kissed her head afterwards. My Siamese male and Bengal girl are adjusting very well. They knew it was coming.

So, I've got an Rx transdermal patch in case I manage to sponge a passenger seat for Saturday's drive. I've got two more name tags to make (Jim and Chris). Ricky and I are flying in Southwest, into EWR on Wednesday and out on Monday. What could go wrong, she dares to ask.

Even so, Brandy will not leave the yard to take a walk with her if we are gone. When dogs are that loyal to us the least we can do is return it.

As for the Audi A6, I am in the middle of detailing it with the intent of selling it. It has been trouble free but we simple do not use it enough. Its 11 years old with 55,000 miles; 25,000 came in the first year! So here’s an offer you can’t refuse – Donna can stay with the dog and I’ll drive the Audi to SF if you will give me $5,000 over Kelly blue book.
Hey, I already offered $50 towards Friday night dinner. We have a two week old 2017 Prius Four (loaded ) so I don't have that spare $3,000....sorry. Nor do I want a vintage A6..... Now, if you offered a '59 MGA

That was a long life in their world. We had one that lived the same number of years. The only difference was she didn't want anything to do with me for the first 16 years and then suddenly I became her friend and in the end she was always sleeping by me, if not on me. Got'a love 'em; sorry for your loss.

BTW, I make a terrible passenger as well!

Enjoy your loaded Prius - - I wouldn't trade you even up for my vintage A6. So we're good.

Rick spent some time yesterday getting the S ready for a road trip. She's back from the body shop after having the bumper painted, again. Damn road debris. I'm ready to pack my bags and hang out with you folks. It's been a while.

Safe travels everyone!

I'm eating some Suthin bbq in Memphis tonight. The first leg of the drive went well. The S just clicks off the miles. Charleston, WV tomorrow.
