They knew it was coming.So, I've got an Rx transdermal patch in case I manage to sponge a passenger seat for Saturday's drive. I've got two more name tags to make (Jim and Chris). Ricky and I are flying in Southwest, into EWR on Wednesday and out on Monday. What could go wrong, she dares to ask.

Jerry, I know you delight in rubbing it in but our 12.5 year old friend needs special meals, several pills daily, and can only deal with staying at our house. She loves the sitter we have used her entire life and the sitter has the option of staying over night at our house if need be. Even so, Brandy will not leave the yard to take a walk with her if we are gone. When dogs are that loyal to us the least we can do is return it.
As for the Audi A6, I am in the middle of detailing it with the intent of selling it. It has been trouble free but we simple do not use it enough. Its 11 years old with 55,000 miles; 25,000 came in the first year! So here’s an offer you can’t refuse – Donna can stay with the dog and I’ll drive the Audi to SF if you will give me $5,000 over Kelly blue book.

The good news is also sad but I put my old girl down 4 days ago. No freezer required. She was just over 2 months shy of being 19 years-old. That's a wonderfully long life for a cat and the longest I've ever been a servant to one. The vet told me, "She was ready" as she only took a few breaths of gas before she relaxed and was gone. Rick spent some time yesterday getting the S ready for a road trip. She's back from the body shop after having the bumper painted, again. Damn road debris. I'm ready to pack my bags and hang out with you folks. It's been a while.

We drop off Sydney 
tomorrow and after an appointment at 0800 Wednesday 
we are heading out of on a leisurely two day drive to SF in the Spider 
Just need to decide if we need to pack our Rain/winter clothes
