these things are great. and relatively cheap. good to get the bulk off and then you finish off with finer grit without it.

 

 

It was at Fontana, Jeff smoked all the cigars but had to do it forever alone.

 

And it was HORRIBLE! All the dirty looks and the HATE!

 

Although I have not tried this particular model, I have found these things generally not worth the plastic they are made out of. Good idea but bad execution - they tend to clog and be really difficult to use smoothly because of the hose. I just put plastic up over the door and wore a respirator.

 

I have an electric sander that is supposed to capture the dust, but does a really bad job of it.

 

I have seen them too. They do ok on walls, piss poor on ceilings. Since I was doing the ceiling, I just sanded away.
