4:45 this morning on the 210 transition road (dark, curving tunnel) in Pasadena going to the gym. I drove the runflat tire like this for 20+ miles. I also have a very sore back from the jolt. America's Tire ordered the Michelin Super Sport tire. They'll have it in tomorrow or Monday. I'll have the Vette flatbed towed to the tire shop. I just hope it didn't do anything to my front end.

 

Rim looks to be okay. That's one positive.

whatever you hit, i don't think it actually got the rim just the tire.

Yes. And AAA 100 mile towing. So sending it on a flatbed tow truck to Pasadena and getting a replacement tire will be free.
