Well I just put a deposit down on my first ever Cadillac! And I am pretty excited. I am trading in my 2016 Denali Duramax on a new 2016 Ats-v. I had test driven one a few weeks back, after driving a M3 and I was amazed by the balance of this thing. Forward a few weeks and I found a deal I could not refuse. The car comes with the carbon fiber package, luxury package, performance data recorder and Recaros. It had a sticker of $80k but picked it up for $49k brand new. That's a lot of car for the money. Now I have to drive 1500 miles to Houston to pick it up. Are there any good tint shops and or clear bra shops down that way. Well here are some pictures below, I will have a better impression once it's in my hands.
I love it. I'm reading a lot of dealerships across the country still have new 2016 and 2017 cars as we move into the 2018 model year. Great find. Tell us more when you drive it.
I'd painters tape the front if you cannot find a clear bra shop down there before the drive back.
Lol that's what I said $31k off sign me up. They also threw in a 6 year 100k certified warranty as well. I will give better impressions once I get it. I havnt had a black car yet and am not looking forward to the upkeep especially because it will have to sit outside. Will need to do more research on it. The only down side on the deal is that it's an auto but I can deal with that since i still have the s2k. And your right I may just have to use painters tape on the drive back
Well I guess that defines the resale value as absolutely horrible, if 'new' ones are going for that steep of a discount. Awesome deal though! I would of jumped on it too!
Ya I don't know how the resale values will be for these things. I thought about that long and hard as well and decided I think I will have to keep this car for at least 7-10years so it won't hurt as bad. Who knows maybe it will stop depreciating around the $35k range similar to the second gen cts v. So far the engine seems to take to mods pretty well. With tune and I think downpipes it's pushing well past 500-600whp.

you are totally right! Most of that depreciation was eaten up in your discount, but if someone spent 85% of msrp this kind of news is disheartening...I would guess. Awesome pickup! Good luck with the car.
