Ya premium fuel for sure. Most of my travels back will be interstate but I will have 400 miles of back country driving too so we will see. As far as the a $7k value I guess time will tell. It will all depend how popular they will start to get once they get in the $40k range. At that price the car becomes more attractive if your looking for a sports sedan say over a 335i or a more racer Sti
Seriously? They're some of the best deals to be had and many owners take fabulous care of them. CPO programs from the luxury marques are very good - you're often getting a barely used car at a massive discount.

well I finally made it to Houston and will be heading to the dealer soon. I agree with you Tommy, I don't think these will go that far down. Look at the cars in $7k range today that are 10years old, I don't see too many that performance cars in the range.

I wouldn't worry the 7k bs. It'll be worth good money. You just eliminated the depreciation in your "deal". GM is hurting and dealing harder than they ever had. A friend got a loaded up z71 Vetter with magnaride, pretty much every to-tin you'd want, stereo, the works, new for 49k. Great time to be an enthusiast and have the $ available to take advantage. Some of my car friends with lots of money to play just said to me last week "Cadillac is bringing it right now". Enjoy it. When you get a new performance car for a damn good deal you'll get some hecklers. They see the price, and 640HP, and start whipping the jump to conclusion mats out. That car is a beast. Gonna be a fun drive back, that is for damn sure.
it won't be 7k. I understand the sentiment, but i would guess after 10 years more like 25-30k, so pretty sweet deal!

Well just got back test driving her and I love it! The car has 300 miles so little more than I thought and a few scratches on the front and rear bumpers probably so hopefully they can buff that out. Also they already put clear bra on the hood and mirrors so that was a bonus!! Overall I'm happy with the deal!
