Mac = McLaren. There is regularly one there as the Dallas Mac dealer brings them all to Speed Shield. Nice Lambo! This is what I meant, every other day there is something in the shop you do not often see! Might as well get to see some kewl chit while you're there. I've seen some sic cars there over the years.

Comgrats on everything. Looks like their typical work, as in you can't tell it's even on there. Just be mindful on that long trip back. Stay away from semis, pass them quickly or stay far back, same for trailers or F250 sized trucks. Constantly vary those RPM's for a bit. I think once you are past 1200 or so miles the hell with it, set the cruise and try to make it home. Sounds like an epic ride, and an epic car. Savor it all. You just scored a hell of a deal all the way around and that don't come around frequently.

Lol sos that's what you meant by Mac, here I was thinking they may have a guy out here with a Mac computer to take pictures lol. Ya I'm from the Midwest. Thanks for the advise I well surely do that. Big trucks do scare me as well as hail. i have been trying to vary that rpm a bit but maybe harder to do the remaining 500 miles. Hopefully after today I can really rip on it. Btw came to Sewell Cad. For an oil change, they seem to have great service e as well. Already got me in as a walkin and should be out in an hour. I'm not use to getting this type of service, it's nice for a change lol

Looks good. More impressive is how many of us Honda fans are picking up domestics.

You know I was thinking the same thing. 15 years ago all of us would have scoffed at the idea of buying a domestic especially a caddy as a sports car. And now most of the Japanese brands don't have any decent options as sport cars but all three domestic company's have progressed and gotten some wonderful fun cars to the public at reasonable prices. And they aren't all one trick ponies like in the old days. Hopefully the quality will be as good as the rest of the brands. I have high hopes lol. I think the biggest issue I will have with the car as far as I can see for now is the Cue system. It's not very user friendly and have some inherent issues with the screen cracking and buttons not working.

I left Honda in 2012 on the auto side and haven't returned. And count me in the first domestic crowd (RS). 5-10 years ago I would have said you were high on buying one.

Sewell has a rep here for service. One of the best, word of mouth. But a lot has to do with location. You are extremely close to the most expensive real estate in Dallas Fort Worth. Preston Hollow and Highland Park are a stone's throw away. Take Mockingbird Ln. to 75 North when you leave. Check out the homes on the way, it will make sense.

Troopers are bad here and they don't f around. Hell back in the day they worked with Sig and Federal, and got the 357sig cartridge developed so they could have 357mag stopping power in a semi-auto.

But there is a radar detector company highly effective at picking them off
I won't even drive a rental car without my radar.
