Ya I noticed they were pretty relentless. The one trooper that passed me must have been doing a 130 wizzing by me. In the past when I lived in Florida I used to own a detector however once I moved up to SD there really is no need for one. Speed limits are 80 and on a 400 mile trip you MAYBE see one trooper lol, and if you do get a speeding ticket just pay the fine they don't have a point system nor insurance rate hikes. Another thing I noticed which I was wondering was why do a lot of the dealers have there cars under tents? Is it due to the heat or hail?

I had to "settle" for the Z06 1LZ, that with some string pulling, cost me $72K, sticker about $79K. Your deal is astounding!
I would have loved to settle on a Z06!! Maybe one day after the kids go to college. $72K for a Z06 is not bad at all. If I could have swung it, I really wanted the CTS V due to the LT4 but they still seem to be around $75k used. Enjoy the vette!

They need to be bad. The DFW area has some of the worse drivers I've seen.

Both but more for hail.

It is bad. Before smartphones it was mild bad. Typical d-baggery of people cutting you off, or not letting you over, you know narcissistic driving characteristics. Then came smartphones and Fakebook, Twatter, etc, many drive while surfing because they are addicts, it's out of control. Now we have the Kalifornian invasion. They've completely destroyed/ruined Austin, Tx, which used to be a real gem, TX's San Fran. Weird, but in a good way, not a corporate town of f-head look at me I'm a narcissist twit that thinks I'm a star. Now it is. Ruined. Kali folks now have blown up DFW and it's getting to the point of where I'm starting to think about fleeing. Traffic is a nightmare now, bidding wars on homes from Kali d-bags invading driving property taxes through the roof. Once the urban or suburban sprawl engulfs my twisties where I ride every weekend I'm out. One friend suggested getting bumper stickers. One he came up with says "If you moved here from Kalifornia FU!". And mine I came up would read "You moved here from commiefornia, and all I got was heavy traffic and more property taxes"

Sorry for the rant. Just tired of it. I'm fighting the count now as they raised my value 60k in one year. Tired of paying so others can move here.

Yes it was, a brand new Huracan. There is a lot of money in Dallas for sure lol. Well here is a few pictures from Pueblo to Colorado Springs! I took the back road and final ripped into it. This thing is deceptively fast. It just wants to eat up those corners with no drama what's so ever. Also the brakes are fantastic! It has great initial bite. I can feel that the car is being held back a little. I can imagine if the exhaust was less restrictive and a better tune this thing will really come a live. Enjoy the pics, I have more drivin to do lol.

Well I finally made it home. All I can say is this car i fantastic! From the handing, acceleration, and looks. The magnaride they put in this thing is short of amazing. When I got to a bad section of my street where my S2000, and jeep bounce all around this thing just glided right over it. The only issue I have had with the car i that the dumb Cue screen cracked, this is probably the only thing that reminds me that it still a GM lol. At least the warranty will cover for a new screen so will see how that goes. On a side not my friend picked up a 2013 LX570 while we were in denver and that thing is a tank. Riding in that thing is like a lazyboy on wheels lol. Once I get the car all cleaned up I will take better pictures!

Glad you made it back safe. Are you referring to the headunit that cracked?
