Picking up a new daily from good ol Cadillac!
DFW traffic is bad, but to suggest it's really bad or the worst is a monumental overstatement. Orlando, Houston, anywhere in or near LA, Philly, Boston, and a zillion other places are worse. There are a lot of cars on the road in DFW, there's too much texting an driving, and everyone has a me-first attitude. But it's still far better than the other planes I mentioned.

at least LA (Boston, NYC, even Portland and Seattle too) has a reason for bad traffic, actually lots of people and challenging geography.
+1 what a bunch of dorks whining about traffic and how Californians are ruining dfw. As someone that did time in Texas....it was ruined way before any Californians got there.

I am so glad I have a stick V wagon. At least the depreciation isn't that bad.
Congrats on the ATS-V! It is an incredible car for what you paid for it! I don't have one in part because the back seat was too small for my growing son. It is truly an underappreciated car.

Thanks!, yes I agree the rear seats are a bit tight, hopefully it won't be too tight for my two sons over the years. Then again when I was growing up my dad had a 87 Prelude and me and my brother use to sit in the rear of that thing all of the time.

at least in TX they build roads; in Portland just bike paths and light rail.
