I use Castrol high mileage, and I do every 5kish miles or so. If I know I have a track day coming up, i'll extend it out and do fresh oil change few days before track day.

I was 6k shy of 250,000 and the clutch had to be replaced... was really hoping I'd hit 250k on the original clutch but I gave it a lot of abuse the last 30k with a lot more track and canyon runs.

I had the head rebuilt less than 1k ago because I plan to boost next year. It's no longer a daily so it's going to get the rest it's deserved.

I should note that if I hadn't tracked/canyoned as much as I did, that clutch and head would've made it to 300k easy!

I'm creeping up on 210k miles. I have done quite an extensive bit of maintenance since I've gotten her.

-all fluids
-replaced iacv (idle drop issue)
-replaced drive belt
-replaced idler belt
-replaced tensioner belt
-replaced all shifter components
-replaced oil seal gasket
-replaced vtech upper and lower solenoid gaskets
-replaced filters
-upgraded deck and speakers
-got new oem red floor mats
-reconditioned headlights (plan on doing lense swap)

Getting some rear tires tomorrow. My clutch is going out. So I need to get that replaced. Also my rotors are getting a bit worn. It never stops, but I'm getting closer to a mechanically sound s2000

I updated the list at the beginning of this thread. We now have 46 known owners with over 200,000 miles!

What's amazing is how reliable the S2000 is. My '03 is my daily diver and I depend on it for long distance trips. I can't afford to be stranded during these trips and my car has never let me down. That's why I can still count on it for these long trips (typically over 500 miles round trip). I'm currently at 373,000 miles.

Getting there, 165,000 today, just did my oil change. I still have three'ish years to go before I join the club, I reckon. You guys really give me something to shoot for.

I hear you. lol. With my long commutes daily, I gotta have a reliable daily driver. I actually do have another car (Lexus IS250) that is super reliable, bought it at 30k miles and now at 150k. But once I bought the S2000 as a weekend car, I drove it to work (110 miles-ish) a few times, then a few times led to driving it everyday. Its such a fun car that I cant stop driving it. Now my daily became my weekend car and the S2000 took over daily driver duty. Haha. I feel like I can get 300k out of mine, but just worry about hitting that mark if I keep doing track days

Slalom44, you should start the Youtube channel for your high-mileage S2000.
I'm getting pretty close to 200k miles club. Only 2000 miles to go and I really hope my car can survive until then. (recently had several close calls & hit a small deer last week). I'll post my pics/maintenance records soon!

So cool. I am not quite there yet, but it won't be much longer...over 187k at the moment. So glad to hear of others who are high mileage owners. I just love mys2k so much I never want to get rid of it.

Oh that would be silly. I've done some stuff by myself minus rebuilding the caliper.
