We are both in a drawer above ground. Separate drawers of course.

Whatever is cheaper. I would guess cremation. Spread my ashes off of the Huntington Beach pier and maybe a little at In-N-Out Burger #1.

I agree with some others about taking up space for the living. Just think about it. If all the people that have died in the history of human kind were buried in cemeteries there would be little room left for the living?

Last year, I re-wrote my will to not have my Sister-in-Law scattered my ashes while flying up side down in an open cockpit bi-plane while flying out of one of three airports: In my previous will, I had set aside $10K for her to fly at of one of three airports to scatter my ashes: Either flying out of the "Flying Circus" in Bealton VA and spread them while flying inverted over the Chesapeake Bay. Or out of the Gabreski airfield in the Hampton's on Long Island, spreading them over the Atlantic ocean off of the south coast of Long Island, or my preference: Flying out of Dillingham Field on the North West corner of Ohau in Hawaii and spreading them over the ocean.

In 2019 on my last of twenty-two trips to the Aloha State I had the experience of doing an aerobatic ride in a Grob S-2 Sail plane (again). But this time, when we did an inside loop to a split S into an outside loop the pilot said to me: Look at two O'clock. As we were inverted, I got to look up at the ocean from about FL3.6 to see two Hump Backed whales swimming about a half a mile off of the coast of Oahu. I have to state that it is the second coolest aviation experience of my life. The first was having the opportunity to fly a "Big Streaman" (450 HP) for eighteen miles from the aerobatic box from FL 5.3 to 800 ft into the pattern at the owner's FBO.

^ I think your 2019 date is wrong, Matt. I will be cremated. Maybe some ashes scattered over Lake Ellis (named after my uncle) at Camp Bryan in NC. Spent many happy times there from age two fishing and just enjoying the surroundings. Here's a later pic taken there with two of my doggies. They loved it, too.

I need to re-do my will (hasn't been updated since my son was born - he's 26 now!). My Maternal family has a private cemetery on the original homestead (homestead not in the family anymore). My plan is to be cremated, have a portion of my ashes in the cemetery, then have my son hit a few places to deposit the rest - places we lived/traveled, but most importantly for me, Anacortes Island, WA. One of my favorite places on the planet.
