I looked at a couple last week, what I didn't like was the chrome around the top of doors. Was thinking it may not look so bad on a white or silver car,

I did not look to see if it had the chrome. It was the wing that grabbed my attention and the seat cover. I have a feeling you are right that it will look better on white & silver. Any plans for you guys to get Karla the new Si coupe?

 

She's thinking of it, it was her idea to go look at them. They had a red one and a dark blue, she didn't care for the chrome but liked the wing.

She wants to look at the civic hatchback sport first, they didn't have any on the lot.

^ I like those too. Harry has the Civic Sport Touring that has the CVT, but the Civic Sport can be had with an MT and also has dual center exhaust tips. I was very impressed with how roomy Harry's car was. I wish the Si also came as a hatchback variant. If it did, chances are I'd finally trade in my Si that now has 85k on the clock.

 

While the touring model is nice I don't think I need all the gadgets.

85K? That's just a baby! Why trade it when it has so much life left?

We're shopping for a replacement for the TSX. It has 160K on it and is starting to rust. We have mixed opinions on getting rid of it. We both like the car and it has a few good years left in it.

 

Not to worry. Every time I entertain a thought of trading in the Si, I always think "what would Mr. Good Deals say?" Then the path is clear. Having said that, if I do go the truck and trailer route as I expect to at some point, then the Si will have to go (unless a long lost rich relative leaves me an inheritance)

 

Pics of the Si that was parked next to me again. Levi - that trim looks more like a darker chrome/polished aluminum. Didn't think it looked too bad.
