We will pick up a bit of your slack this week and hit the road, though I don't believe we will see too many lighthouses in VT. Heading out Wednesday for three nights in VT. Will be cruising in the P car on scenic Route 100 among other areas. Weather doesn't look bad. We will celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary and my 62nd birthday on Friday. We will head home on Saturday, so I'll expect a bit of a quiet weekend, but that's OK, mid week fun and travels work well for me!

Those are the kind of trips we enjoy the most - taking off mid-week when traffic is lightest and avoiding the expressways. Going far enough to see something new yet close enough that you don't feel like you beat yourself up trying to have a good time. Congrats on the 33 and being a young 62.

Thanks, Dave. We are looking forward to it. We've been to VT several times, but it's been quite a while. Route 100 is very popular, very scenic and one of our first S2000 overnight meets was in that area. The Stowe area is popular, so popular that the rate at a Best Western changes from $139.00 on a Thursday to about $275.00 on the Friday. No thanks, we'll stay in a less touristy area and stop by for a visit.

Congrats to you both. I hope you have a nice trip. Vermont is beautiful and I wish we could have spent more time there.

Here's one..I've seen nicer ones, but if you see one, you HAVE to stop and take a photo! It's the law for toursts in VT.

We have them in MI too. I never really understood the fascination with them. Here's one of the MI ones

But, these are the kind I grew up with where you could see right through the bottom and they were way longer. In fact, I walked across it ever single day (twice) going & coming from school.

Waiting for Mrs. GM3 to fly home and maybe a movie. Going to try to figure out the noise I have in the front suspension on Stiletto.
