I'll have to think about that. There is an autocross on Sunday. I have house chores on Saturday. If I can do a brake fluid change I may bring the S2000.
I was at SCDA's Lime Rock event with Greg and Rico and Liz today.
I was instructing at the car control clinic at the top of the hill until noon. Got to meet a fellow S2000 owner that was participating - Marshal from Connecticut has a clean SSM AP2. It was on street tires and he had fun sliding the car around. Got to ride along in a Ferrari 488 as well. My god was that thing fast and what's more the driver was wringing the car for all it had.
At noon, I went back downhill into A paddock and Greg and I joined Liz for lunch. I drove 2 sessions on track. Went out in the instructor group and did a lead-follow with Mr. Goss and Liz was a passenger in my car. I ran the full session and I set a personal best of a 1:10. Later I decided I'd go out and do about 10 minutes in the advanced group. It was a long day already and I had a long one yesterday too with autocross. Went out with Rico and did a few laps that I hoped would help him. Turns out he was doing much better than I running 1:07s and 1:08s, but figured it'd help him to ride along. Earlier I thought Liz was lucky for me, but turns out I went faster with Rico in my right seat. Matched my fastest S2000 time of 1:08 and it felt very good.
Here are some pics and I'll share the videos once they've uploaded
Marshal's AP2
Greg is working away responding to emails from work I think Liz, Greg and I having lunch together. This was at the end of the day. It was good to see these two again. Hoping Rico makes it to more events with our group.
The car was acting up when it got hot, would not idle.
Come to find out that my idle control valve had fallen off. Screw were gone and it was swinging in the breeze. Apparently this happen during the last race at NJMP.
That answers a few of those WTF happened questions.
Check out my new driving shoes......got them for the runoffs.
wow! just watched that video and realized how much I was slowing you down. I feel bad. But thanks for going along with my request and working with me. I think it helped me to up my game a bit.

Oh stop it, the #59 is brutally fast and hard to drive slowly so I can't expect you to keeeeep up with it..
You drove some very good lines and hit apex as necessary while talking to your passenger.
