Thanks for the tip. I think I've watched it all now, and although it wasn't near as good as the Harley Davison story I still enjoyed it, learned some things, and recalled a lot of things I'd forgotten (imagine that). For the most part it seemed like a Ford story, with other companies tossed in.

Henry Ford was a nasty old bastard! I knew his resistance to the war but I did know about the rest.

His licensed Ford plants in Germany, before WW2, were the blueprints for mass production of the Nazi war machine. Hitler's idea of producing the "people's car" (VW Typ 1) was based on Ford's efficient assembly line.

I enjoyed the first 2 episodes much better than the last. Maybe because the last episode had about 1/2 of it to things I remember?
