★ JAE 2017 ★ - 31 August to 3 September *
Bit of a rant post, so sorry in advance
I think I know why the numbers have been falling over the years, and I think I know why.
There are a few former owners of S2000s that still like to attend meets such as this, as they are a great opportunity for a catchup. After all we have met some wonderful peeps through the forum, and just because we haven't got the car anymore, we don't see any reason why we can't keep in touch, and one of the ways of getting together is through events such as this, but the organisers are just making this awkward.
The reason why I am saying this is, looking at the "Entry Info tab" on the japcarclub.org website "Non-Japanese cars are welcome but are not allowed on-site, they will be parked in the general parking area, situated just outside the main JAE entry gate"
Looks like we've got firgin miles to walk to the plot, with our camping gear, and dogs
Rant mode off

Okay folks, a further read in the FAQs and I found this.
Non-Japanese cars can come into the showground to drop off equipment (such as camping) but need to be returned to the general visitor area within two hours of arrival.
I hope that is the case when it comes to packing up.
A bit of an improvement, but I had to search to find this

JAE week is here!!!!!
I hope everyone is all set! We have a brilliant location, right next to our ElgrandOC friends and near to other club friends. The forecast is looking good (fingers crossed it stays that way!)
We've purchased a new tent and have Buckfast and cider on the shopping list. Cakes to be baked later in the week and we'll be ready to go!
