You cant fix stupid. Hopefully it taught him a lesson. The new Vette is scary fast and can get away from you even faster if you don't know what you are doing.

Just tow it to the guys at Iron Resurrection for a show segment (Fiberglass Resurrection) The rear wheel might be salvageable.

Modern vehicle safety systems are especially amazing to us older drivers.

On a late spring evening a few years ago,a kid with his new pimped out Chevy Cavalier and some girls was flying down our country road ( with no shoulders) when he came across a truck coming the other way. He dropped two wheels, over corrected and shot across the road where chopped off a power pole and landed in a marsh.
Being next door, I heard it and started walkin g,afraid of what I might see.

Kids where already out of the car on their phones getting rides. No one hurt!

Kids car was totaled and it took 4 hours to get the power back on.
