FYI, the Wilwood Superlite, C43 and AP CP8350 calipers use the same pads (Sometimes different pad depth depending on rotor), so there is a lot of pad choices out there.

AP rings have directional vanes and a lot of them, to move a ton of air. The Stoptech C43 kit doesn't have Vanes, so doesn't pump as much air as the AP kit does. Wilwood i sadly cannot say. On my M3, i've run stock calipers (Single piston calipers) with cooling, PFC BBK and an AP BBK, with friends running C43 kits on their car. Stock was 90% as good as any BBK IMO. Cracked rotors on the PFCs and APs in the same frequency as the stock ones on the M3.

Regarding the S2000, first weekend out with the car, i cracked the front rotors. Went with Girosdisc front and Urge rear, stock calipers (rebuilt by Centric). Rotors are showing no signs of heat checking, let alone any cracking. Calipers are smoked though (no cooling). Going to throw on some titanium backing plates to help with the caliper cooking, but i'm going to continue to run the Girodisc rotors, they're legit phenomenal. After spending thousands upon thousands on BBKs for the M3 and just making it a worse car, i'm not going to make the same mistake twice.

Default Wilwoods

If you don't want caliper flex then wilwood should not be your choice. I have a kit that uses the superlites, they flex, you get uneven wear. I just rotate pads around between days. It's a good kit for the money but it does have a ton of flex.

iirc the wilwoods have directional veins, i just picked up a used set dirrrrty cheap. can speak to the flex, i have heard about it but havent got them on track yet. i guess the superlites with the bridge bolt are better than the ones without which the kit uses bridge bolt calipers but still flexs more than competitors. that said its still light years better than stock. replacement rings i found online for like $150, shares the same pad as a ton of other calipers(i got dtc70s for i think 125 shipped), i fully rebuilt them for only a couple hundred bucks. i wouldnt recommend the wilwood kit if buying new though i think the stoptech kit is worth the premium over the wilwoods when paying msrp. search up on here there is a brake bias post where someone did all the math. wilwoods you need the front/rear kit (i used ballade oversized rear rotors to correct bias) st40 can run stock rear, c43/c42 has to be run in a pair front and rear, etc

I'm a long time user of the ST40 kit and switched to the C43 kit. Unless you care about the weight, don't buy into the hype. The rotors last sustainably less than the ST40 rotor rings. The C43 rings are cheaper but don't include hardware.

Thanks for the input everyone
weight is important but I have to add 25 lbs for the change. Brings the as driven weight to 2661 with me in it.
I’m leaning towards the following:
wilwood custom kits
c42/c43 kits
revolution.

When they finalize the rule and get it allowed I’ll let everyone know what I end up with.
