If you are planning to stay N/A and you don't plan on tracking much then you may want to go with 4.44, 4.3 will be a little underwhelming. If you are planning to track a decent amount then it really depends on the track layout.
I went with 4.3s because I have a couple friends who run 55s and lower at Buttonwillow with 4.44s in AP2s and they both said they think gearing is too short. I figured I'd go with 4.3s to hopefully not have to take turns a gear higher.
Though I may have screwed myself by still having to take some turns a gear higher and have less torque multiplication than the 4.44s would give lol.
They worked well last time out but it was wet and my tires were ancient and had no grip, so I was way off the pace anyways.
I'm going back on the 19th with fresh RE71RS's so I guess I'll find out soon.

How'd you do out there? I was there on the 19th as well. No PBs for me, didn't even break sub-2 this time out. My excuse was being on 1.5yr old tires with this being their 4th track day.

Not as well as I had hoped. My fastest lap of the day was 1:59.9 in the first session and I had a few laps were my Aim was all green only to run into traffic, it was pretty crowded. I did get some open laps but my driving wasn't up to par, need to shake off some rust

I also bought the Toda engine oil control orifice because it was only about $8. I'm not going to install it until I can find more information about it, mainly is it okay to install on a dual purpose car and not a dedicated track car.
So far my searches have come up dry but my friend in Japan is going to email Toda to try and get more info.
DId you end up installing the orifice, i ordered one too but not enough feedback, so leaving it out for now

Not yet, it is on my to do list but I've been lazy. I think as long as the head is getting enough oil to engage VTEC then it is has more than enough for lubrication, increasing the oil pressure to the bottom end seems to be a good idea.
I've also heard that it is possible the orifice reduces the amount of oil that gets sucked out of the PCV during tracking

I've been meaning to redesign my splitter for awhile now and tunnels to them and I finally got around to doing so.
In the future I'd like to get the Racebred end plates so I made sure to design the sides long enough accommodate them. For now I'm am just running some end plates I cut out of ABS plastic.
For the splitter tunnels I went with the Racebred ones. I wanted the tunnels to sit even with the splitter to prevent the airflow from detaching when it hits tunnel so I used a router to make a seat for the tunnels.

I test drove it today and going around turns at around 60mph+ you can start to feel the extra downforce this splitter makes over my previous one, I can't wait to take it to the track.

I have a few things I need to address like painting the end plate brackets black, getting or designing new tire spats, and seeing how I can add extra supports to the sides of the splitter in addition to the ones that are currently there.

Make sure you add some angle into your wing. I was getting loose and having to make steering corrections at 103-105mph exiting Riverside after adding in splitter ducts (running an APR GT250 on 14" uprights).

Thanks, I'll make sure to do that. I'm also getting some larger endplates for my wing to add a bit more rear downforce.
