Tinted Taillights

I can apply tint to the outside just fine...but it is sure to scratch off with time. So I'm curious if they've cooked the taillights and applied the tint to the inside, or if its just applied to the exterior. Not a difficult question.

I can't say I agree, I don't hate it, but it defeats the purpose of a tail light by basically covering up the design techniques that Honda has implemented into the rear lights of the S2000. You can obviously still see it, but the stock lights look better (in my opinion anyways), maybe a comparo between the normal tail lights and these could better distinguish the difference...

the 2002 chrome-ringed lights look awesome
I think that a very light tint would serve the car better then making it so dark. It is too bad that I live in a town with tons of pr*ck cops that will pull you over for small mods like this anyway.

Looks like my rear lights....that I've had tinted since May 2000, with no problems of scratching OR importantly, with the Police!!

Here's a picture of a S2K, that I saw @ a track day earlier this month....funny enough it was also a silver 'Stook'.

As for how it's done....I'll say this (so far) - IT IS NOT A FILM and THERE IS NO NEED TO REMOVE THE LIGHT COVERS!! - there that should be a big enough clue?!
