Well i finally managed to get a video of one of my hot laps uploaded to a server. Its not the best quality but it shows the line i was taking as well as a couple of bobles. One on lost hill and another at sunset, site of a previous off track excursion for me ;-)

You'll probably want to do a right click "save target as" for this...

Thanks for the compliments!... As for the sound... When SoS had their garage sale a while ago i got the Speed Racing exhaust they had available at a very good price. But it wasnt the sound i was after it was the weight, at about 12lbs the weight saving is substantial.

stockae92,
besides the SC, pinnacle braking system and the MOTON coilovers... I have a mugen header plus the speed racing exhaust, Toda flywheel and ACT pressure plate and the 17" volk CE28Ns. I've also installed a hardtop and removed everything behind the drivers and passengers seats and installed a 4 point rollbar thats very similar to the one Triple-H has. BTW Triple-H, thanks for the great ideas and write up on your bar. I've probably forgoten a few things but those are the big one. The car is currently at about 2650lbs or so with out driver and 1/2 tank of gas, i figure i have about 50 to 100lbs of easy to remove weight then things will get much tougher.

Dave, thanks for posting the hot lap clip - that was awesome to watch. My hands were getting sweaty just watching the movie! The good news is that I was taking nearly the same line, so I must be doing something right. Now, just to go faster ...

Wow, Dave, I don't know if it's your camera mount or your shocks are that much stiffer than mine, but I was getting car sick just watching that video Take a look at this and check out the difference in the videos:

I'm also going to have to remember that "pass on the right and pretend you've got a point-by" trick!

WOW, the quality on that vid is very good... much better than mine. I'm thinking that the image stabilization on my camera needs to be turned off and i should also use a stabilizing strap between the camera and rollbar. That should fix most of the vibrations. Ohh, and yes i got the point by and as you can see he was way off power... I had no where else to go
