Default Photo album availability.

Cthree or Krazik, this subject has popped up a few times in the last little while.
Is the photo album now only available to "members"? Or do "owners" still have some kind of limited album accessibility? If so, what are the conditions that apply? (like # of posts, forum age, etc. before photo album access.)

I think if you are an owner you get 5 pics to upload to host on s2ki.

I believe this was changed a while ago. When memberships were first announced the photo album was said to no longer be free, but we let it slide for a while.

But yes, the photo album is a member only tool. We may add a very small photo album for owners, but we haven't written that code yet.

Hmm... sounds fair. However, being just after Christmas I can't swing even the $20 just yet. However, I would be willing to help out w/ some coding in exchange for a membership :-)

I don't know PHP, but Perl, C, Java, ... shouldn't be hard to figure out. Lemme know if you're interested.

Dangit, I have some nice looking shots of my S2000 that I added ground effects to in Adobe Photoshop that I want to share.

Certainly there are several "free" photo storage sites on the internet but they have "catches". Most of them will charge you an annual fee so why not just spend that 20 bucks for a membership here, get your photo album PLUS a few other little perks AND support the forum that gives you something in return?

I guess you could call it a "VANITY TAX" then!
I wonder if the IRS will let me write it off?
