Why Comptech isn't using a bigger front mount heat exchanger is beyond my understanding. Vortech does the damn same thing. If you go to Spearco's webpage, they recommend a big (I think 280 square in) front mount heat exchanger for their A/W intercoolers. A VW Scirocco style aluminum radiator is ideal.

 

I see you had them install it. How much did it cost? I just finished mine and am now changing my oil since its jacked up. I'm confused on how everyone else is getting their kit when my brother Doc, was #2 on the list after me..

Finally we can now compare Comptech SC with Vortech SC and not have anyone saying, hey mine dosen't have a aftercooler and your does. The big thing now will be who is going to sell their kits cheaper Comptech or Vortech?

Now does the Vortec system have the same gains on a stock S2000 as Comtech did with their system? If not, what are numbers for a vortec system on a stock S2000?
