Inquiring minds would like to know why you are switching back to the S so quickly from the G35C? The reason people want to know is because we all occasionally think whether it would be a good idea to do what you did ( switched to a G from an S); but then you switched back, so perhaps it is not a good idea....but what was the deciding factor for you to switch back? It would be nice to hear from someone who has owned both the S and the GC. Thanks.

The G35 Coupe is a great car but .... I have only been averaging 11 to 15 mpg, on a full 20 gallon tank I was able to push 240 miles before having to refill it w 18 gallons of fuel. The other main problem is the rattles, holy $hit this car rattles. When I was oringinally trying to decide about trading in the S2000 I had read in the G35 forums that people were complaining about rattles but I mean it is embarassing rattles in the front dash, sun roof and in the back seat area. They are not big huge rattles but when you pay 36,000.00 for a car and put on only 3600 miles it should not rattle at all. The car does look great especially with the Brembo brakes and 18" rims but the car feels heavy and the rattling makes my skin crawl and the car only has 3600 miles. my 2001 S had 19,800 miles and not a single creek. I guess the S2000 spoiled me.

My co-workers think I am a spoiled PIA because in reality the G35 is beautiful and in black it really looks awesome but the S2000 is more my personality and fits me like a glove.

To answer why I posted about the color is this. I love black but it is a PIA to keep clean but I saw a red 04 S in the showroom a few weeks ago and it took my breath away, red shows the curves more and stands out. On the other hand the black is in the showroom and shines an to my eyes I can still see the curves of the S. I did concider GPW again but if I get back in an S it has to be with a different color. I will say that my GPW w the red and black interior w hard top always got attention where ever it went. Well, what ever I do it is going to be kind of a shame to get the S2000, drive it a week and to put it into storage.

i actually read in the g35 forums that some people over there were getting way WAY upwards of 300miles before having to fill up... but not you i guess.
some people even said they've done over 400miles- THAT'S JUST SICK. the average i noticed was from 320 to 380. how the HELL did you manage to only get 240 per tank?
one of the things that made me want this car other than looks etc, was the gas mileage i've been reading it gets!
was yours so low cause of too much city driving and lack of daily driving?

like shiftright said- i'm one of those considering the switch between the two cars... if the car didn't squeek (like many others have claimed as well) would you have kept yours??????

go stand in front of the mirror. now, ask yourself, is the person you're looking at someone to be respected and admired? is he a bad mo-fo? does he have "presence"?

if not, get red.

Go Red Red Red.

Black is ok, but shows dust and dirt very quickly. On the other hand, New Formula Red is most beautiful. Sooo red, sooo shiny.

Definitly Red
