anotherbrian,

First off CONGRATS on a new car! I'm so glad you got a great deal on your car and refused to patronize dealers who charge over MSRP!

I was remember the deals I got when I shopped around and shared my experience with Chicago area dealers....we get great prices here!

Here was my post: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...50&pagenumber=1

Enjoy and good luck with your new baby. Go to an S2000 gathering...its fun! Life just got more exciting!

Dayum, look at all those dead bugs. Looks like your new S2K is sporting 5-o'clock shadow.

That's super! Beautiful pictures. That drive must have been a blast.

I'm looking for a Suzuka Blue later this year, probably 2003 model, and will certainly think about the Chicago area dealers as a source if needed. I'm from the San Diego area. It's hard to get dealers to be reasonable here.

isn't the point of saving money to actually SAVE IT?
i mean... sure, you got a vacation out of it, but you kinda stated that you went w/the chicago dealer for their availability and for the cheap price... but like you said yourself, all the money you saved, went on plane ticket, food, gas etc.
i love this car too, but man... i dunno if i'd do all that!
but hey, ENJOY THE CAR!
