ClemsonWill's 2nd S2000 build
Okay, so I have been around on the S2000 forum for quite sometime. I have had fun with build threads (or journals) in the past so I thought I would give it a try again. But first I will give you a bit of my auto history just for fun.
In 1999 I purchased a Black Mitsubishi Eclipse GS OZ edition. This was the first car I really gave me the mod bug. I modded it with a number of bolts-ons including CBE, Test pipe, intake, header, coilovers, strut braces, wheels, etc. It's was definitely a fun car but a bit of trial and error for sure.
Only picture I can find.
I really liked this car but after 5 years and 100K miles I needed to change it up. So I decided to purchase a 2006 Suzuka blue Honda S2000, a car I had admired since high school. (In fact I can remember my high school buddies and I driving down to the dealership to see the first S2000 they pulled off the truck. A 2000 NFR. I loved it.) So I slowly started modifying the 06 Suzuka.
T1R Dual Sparrow, Toda header, Hondata Flashpro, Volk RE30s, OEM front lip, Alpine head unit and speakers, etc.
I loved the S2000 but I thought that more power would be fun. I was really came very close to buying a 2010 Corvette Grandsport but I just couldn't see spending that kind of money on a car that would not be driven much. So I went with a something a little less expensive. On July 30th, 2010 I purchased a brand New Magnetic Black 370z Touring/Sport with floor mats, kick plates, and nav.
After spending a couple of years modifying this car, I was very happy with it. Stillen intakes, Fast Intentions LTH and catback exhaust, custom UpRev tune, H&R Springs, Volk TE37s w/ RE11s, Z1 Oil Cooler, and a host of other minor modifications.
(*** Photobucket is terrible. I will have to add another picture of the Z in later. ***)
In 2013 my life was heading in a different direction. My family was growing so I decided to sell the Z. I knew I wanted something different, with a backseat. My dad had a CJ7 growing up and I spent some time driving it in college. Loved the doorless open air ability so I bought a 2012 Wrangler. My wife was ecstatic. She has never really understood my obsession with the driving experience. She just wanted something she could enjoy too. Hence the automatic transmission.
Modifying the JK has been a whole new experience for me. I have the scars to prove it. Plus, I have learned a good bit about off-roading along the way. It has all been fun and I love my "not so little anymore" JK. It's great being able to easily take your family along on your adventures.
In the end, I have always missed my S2000 so the search began to get back in the seat of one. After months of searching for the right car at the right price, I found another 2006 S2000. This time in Berlina Black. I have always been partial to black cars. So here is where my new journey begins. My current goal is to enjoy the car at some of the local Auto-X events and hopefully make some trips to the mountains.

Thanks guys. I'm really happy with where the Jeep is and I'm very happy to add another S2000 to the mix. We will see where it goes. But to start here are my first mods that I have installed over the last few weeks.
Clazzio seat covers. Black leather with red stitch.
Before (normal wear and tear for S2000 seats)
After seat covers installed:
As many have already said. These seat covers are awesome. They fit perfect.

CR shift knob installed. I wish I had gotten a Civic type R with the red lettering though. Oh well, maybe down the road I will swap them out. I love the feel of the round knob.

That's true. I love the TE design. I don't know that I would go with matte black again though. Such a pain to keep clean.
I have a set of CR wheels that I'm refinishing. Once I get them done, I will throw those on for a while and see how I like them.
