Honda MTF for the transmission, 1.6qts is the recommended amount. And for the diff I live in a warm climate so I personally went with Amsoil 75w-140, but 75w-110 will serve you great, 0.75qts for the differential.

I have Redline MTF in the tranny and the LE 1605 in the rear diff. No complaints from either me or the car.

amsoil manual trans fluid will last a lot longer than the honda mtf.

90w in the diff and you'll be good to go. i run 190w amsoil for my diff for extra protection since i've had some damage from my pinion nut getting loose.

GM Synchromesh Friction Modified also works great for transmission fluid

"The Best" Is a bit subjective, isn't it? How do you plan on using the car? As you can see from the responses above, the answers will vary without you getting more specific.

it doesn't last very long at all and will become notchy again quickly.

amsoil mtf lasts the longest.

I have noticed that, but I feel like it makes the biggest difference in "notchiness" when fresh

agreed, but it gets notchy in about 2-3 months. that's just too short of a time frame.

the amsoil lasts 2-3 years.

honda mtf about 1 year.
