Very quick! Quicker than a 2009 Audi R8 V10, 2007 Gallardo Superleggera, 2006 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, 2009 911 Turbo, 2006 911 GT3 RS and 2015 BMW M4 (!), etc.

That's quite a list. And before anyone says it...."Tires have come a long way." Completely ignore the fact that the Type R is down a few hundred hp on most of those machines, plus they're RWD (or AWD). The M4 is brand-new and is still slower (so far).

Crazy stuff. We all know that the OEMs spend a lot of time there honing the cars to perfection (and cheating, in many cases) but regardless, they've taken FWD a long way to get these types of times.

And I'll still take any of the aforementioned "slower" cars over the Type R...

Too bad it looks like a knock off Lego toy... Way over the top in the most unflattering way.

I think they designed it that way to specifically put it in the the next Transgenders, I mean Transformers film. It will be a new character.

I'd like to meet that driver. He really hung it out, the whole lap. Must be in pretty good physical shape.

So are these going to be difficult to buy when they are released? Rare?
