I was a good boy and did I what I was supposed to do the weekend before last which was pressure wash the deck. So I just dressed like I was working on a fishing boat in the atlantic ocean and knocked it out. It took 6 hours.

sorta... if only one's car looked that good after washing it the way the deck looks... mine is so beat up & dirty. I think despite my enjoyment of speed / quick car. I just am more a truck person. Don't wash it but maybe once a year, dent here scratch there - don't care... just keep it mechanically sound, etc. Mini needs some TLC that I just don't have the money for.

I guess it isn't really typical but I am OCD about my truck, too. The blue metallic paint really only looks good when it is clean and I am always fanatical about the interior of any car I drive. I can't stand it when the back seat turns into a trash can.
But you are so right in that keeping it up as much as I want has taken a serious back seat to the amount of free time I DON'T have.
