Hey s2ki I have a mint set 10/10 condition set of genuine CR rims that were just refinished this Monday. Buy yourself a nice Christmas present. This is my last set, I don't need to sell them nor do I need to justify my pricing. The price is now OBO if you don't like it, move on. No need to chime in if you're just spreading misinformation. I will be adding more pictures of casting marks etc later on. Cash is king but if I’m shipping PayPal is preferred.

***FYI***
Regardless of what sites may have them listed cheaper, they are no longer in production and you will not find them new. As a matter of fact, as of 2 yrs. ago Honda had only "1" rear rim available. These rims are mint, never mounted, never driven on, 100% factory new condition. I'm in no hurry to sell. Thank you

Are they finished in the CR silver or the V3 silver? Thanks, love them wheels.

The match is the CR Kaiser silver paint code and it’s dead on with the center caps.

Are they painted, or powder coated?

My experience is that these wheels are almost impossible to come by and certainly not new or freshly refinished.

You’re right, but remember this is the internets. They are powdered and didn’t you buy a set from me a few yrs ago?

Yes, I did. Very happy with them.

But, I do like the look of this set. Do you know what brand and color number powder was used? Is there a clear powder layer on top?

The company has a database with the CR kaiser silver paint code in it. I was skeptical at first on the match, but they assured me it would be exact and they mix their own powders. I’m not familiar with the coat process but if you want to get the ones I sold you redone, I can PM you my contact. Powder is always going to be more durable than paint and it isn’t necessary to clear powder over a base color. You would clear powder over something like a raw aluminum finish.

I had my CE28s powdercoated and it was a heck of a task trying to match original Volk colors - almost impossible to do. In the end I found a color almost identical to Volk Ti-Silver. So it worked out. Powder coating is definitely more rugged than paint and clear coat. But, color matching is very difficult.

Apparently everyone needs a reminder that comments about price are not allowed. If you don’t like the price just move on. Thread has been cleaned up.

Stupid question, please excuse. If the rims were never driven on or mounted then why the need to refinish them?
