Default Tire/rims size for lowered ap1 with BBK

Hi guys,

I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I'm having a very hard time finding an answer to my specific questions.

What I'm trying to do is, find a tire/rim combo that will fit a big brake kit, is able to run a 245 or 255 square set up on a 17 inch rim, and also work with KW v3 coilovers. I know I will have to roll my fenders and relocate my bumper tab. My goal is performance as this vehicle is not my daily driver. Any rim suggestions with specific size and offset would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much in advance.

I think the trm c4 +48 offset would clear some bbk. Pretty inexpensive rim on tire rack.

The part that makes this most difficult limiting your options is your desire to run a square set up. If the only perquisite was a BBK then it would offer a few more options. Wheels for this car are already hard enough.

For example, the Enkei RPF1 comes in a convex face 8.5" +40 that will clear any BBK on the market, it will also fit in the rear, however its only 8.5" wide which technically would accommodate a 255, but not ideal, and would require slight pull of the fenders. Also not many care for the look of the convex face in the rear of the car. If you were to run the optional concave face 9 +45 with the 255, and then go with the 8.5 +40 with 245 up front, that would work excellent.

has anyone here had experience with volk ce28n 17x9 + 40 wrapped in 245 or 255 all the way around? Seen some mixed reviews on these.

Mixed reviews on Volks? In what way? I mean they are pricy but they make great wheels. Fronts are defiantly pushing it for fitment though.

I run TSW Interlagos 17x9 +63 all around with 255s. Only requires a fender roll in the front. Not sure about BBK compatibility though. My car is not slammed, but lowered on Ohlins DFV with offset ball joints and ~3° of negative camber.

sorry, I should've worded it differently. I meant mixed reviews on the size. My worry is rubbing upfront.

Ah yeah. The fronts are pushing it. I run 17x9 +43 in front with a 245 and on stock fenders I had to flare them out a bit.
