It's that time again...Nats tix go on sale Thurs and I have my five or so games picked out for the season. Might get a couple more here and there. New manager and new players so we'll see how it goes. They did well yesterday against the Braves at spring training. The one game we will not be attending is the All Star Game, which is being held here. Unfortunately, we don't want to pay $700 a ticket for our normal seating area. So that will be a no go.

$700, that is outrageous. No wonder these players make big bucks. The average fan is getting screwed not only for this game but for regular season games as well. I am going to a Orioles/Tampa Bay game next week. Tickets are going for $20 and the food is reasonable. That will go away when the regular season begins.

Yes, the regular season games have increased. I prefer the club section and pay extra for that. But even those tix are about 1/2 to 1/3 of what a Caps ticket costs. Which is why we attend very few Caps games.

Looks like the Red Sox finally announced the JD Martinez signing today. It was announced unofficially all last week, but then they ran into some medical issues. I hope he turns out to be as great as advertised.

I'm headed to AZ next week. I will be staying just down the road from the Indians and Reds spring training facility. I hope we can take in a game.

^^ It’s a great time ti be going to Arizona! Enjoy. Do the Indians look to be as strong as last year? I think the Stros look to take them on again this year. Seems to be lots of parity at the top.

^ When we out last year for the +1 to run a half marathon in Apache Junction, we stayed at a hotel I booked called Wrigleyville West for the convenience to my relatives, the airport and the race. I had no idea it was named that because it's right next to the training facility for the Cubs!! We walked all around there. They have a really big store.

I think the Indians will do much like the last several years. Play strong and fold at the end. Were from Cleveland...we are use to it!
