Default AP1 and AP2 Brake Ducts Are Here!

Alright guys, time to make a real for sale thread on my brake ducts. This is going to be interesting/weird scenario so please read the entire thread.

First, we'll go ahead and put up the tried and true AP1 brake ducts. These mount to the front of the bumper grills using fasteners and allow you to attach a hose to the back. The 3" flange does not work as it will not fit in the bumper, so for now I can only offer 2" and 2.5". If you'd like me to make an adapter to 3", I can do that.

Price: $100 shipped. These take me about 2 days to make if they're not in stock. All parts are MADE TO ORDER.

Here is a pic installed on my AP1:

The product most of you are waiting for: AP2 brake ducts! Big shoutout to Eric Wong for giving me his bumper scanned files. It was a great help developing these. These mount by sliding them onto the back of your bumper, therefore I can make 2", 2.5", or 3" sizes. If you want a custom size, just let me know.

AP2 brake ducts will be $200 shipped.

Here is how they look right now:

For the AP2 ducts, I recommend using a Loctite epoxy for plastics to glue them to your bumper, then covering the edges with Honda RTV to give them another seal. I also recommend throwing a coat of Krylon plastic spray paint to give them extra protection from the elements. I am going to wrap mine in duct tape for behind the bumper, but I don't anticipate it being required.

I can do custom colors, but most are printed in white or black. If you want a specific color, please note when ordering. I have good results with my white filament and I sprayed mine black, so to me it doesn't really matter the color I print them in.

Thanks everyone! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to post/PM. Or if you have other things you want me to make for you, shoot me a PM and we can chat.

Rear Brake Duct update:

Big thanks to Chris aka "thepoi" for sharing his rear brake duct models with me. That saved a lot of measurement time.

I should have my set done sometime this week, depending on how much drive I have after work.

Here is a sneak peak:

great design for the rear. but i find you get more air flow behind the wheel then in front. may be because lower pressure zone in front the tire, not sure on that one though

Just did first test fitment of the AP2 ducts today, thanks to Todd for taking out time from his night to stop by the house, and they fit great! All three sets have now been shipped out so if anyone is interested the queue is open!

Once epoxied on, they will be on the backside of the bumper without any gaps. Even with just sliding them on it fit really well.

Here are some shots from tonight:

Todd met up with us for dinner tonight and brought these. Quality is top notch. They feel and look great.

I'm really looking forward to see how the install goes. May need to get a set for my Ap1 when the time comes!
