Actual praise for MA motor vehicle registry
My beloved bride was pestering me about "did I renew the registration for the toy, I put it on your desk?"
oh well hell, no wonder I couldn't find it.... Lainey knows what I'm talking about....
So I logged onto RMV website with my license number and some other data.
sure enough they have a nice little table set up with all of my vehicles in it and when their registrations expire.
and yuppers, there is the S2000 which expires in a few days.
Just click on the link and select renew, it goes to the payment page, enter a credit card and voila all done.
An email pops into my mailbox with a temp note saying it is registered.
I mean it was actually easy. nothing in this state is easy...there got to be a catch.

VA has a good DMV website.

I've been using the on-line renewal process for years. It is pretty good.

Anything to save a trip to "The Registry" as it's called in MA. You folks probably refer to your facility as the DMV.
Our Registry has such inefficient service that AAA now offers some of the basic services for their members.

No we don't. www.oplates.com Been using it for years.
I was talking about our driver licenses, not our car registrations.
(My husband takes care of the car registrations. He does it by mail. Maybe, I should suggest he do it on-line. All of our car registrations expire at the same time, based on the month of the birthday.)
